In short. VizuStep helps you plan a routine and show it one card at a time, to a child, to an adult you support, or to yourself. Everything you set up by hand is free and unlimited. Only the AI features are paid, after a free allowance.
VizuStep is a planning aid. It is not medical care, not a medicine reminder that can be relied upon, and not an emergency or safety system.
Who you are agreeing with
These terms are the agreement between you and Agemoware, the maker of VizuStep, for your use of the app. Using VizuStep means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app. You can reach us at sup@agemoware.com.
Who may use VizuStep
You must be an adult — 18, or the age of majority where you live — to hold an account. A child or a supported adult can use a connected device without an account of their own; the account holder is responsible for that device and for what is shown on it.
If you plan routines for another person, you are responsible for having the right to do so, and for whatever you record about them. Where the person can take part in that decision, please involve them.
What is free
Everything you make yourself is free, with no limit: people, routines, cards, pictograms, your own photographs and recordings, connected devices, reminders, the guided screen and the whole record of what has been done. There is no advertising and nothing is sold on.
VizuStep Plus
VizuStep Plus pays for the part a language model writes: a routine written from one sentence, a routine dictated instead of typed, and the AI changes to steps — smaller steps, simpler words, what is missing, and a change made by telling it.
Every account gets a small number of free AI uses. After those, Plus is needed. The exact number of free uses, and the number of AI uses a plan includes, are shown in the app before you buy and on the subscription screen afterwards; they may change, and the app always shows the current figures. A plan's uses are a shared pool: every phone signed into the same account draws from the same allowance.
The subscriptions
- VizuStep Plus, monthly — one month, renewing every month.
- VizuStep Plus, yearly — one year, renewing every year.
Both plans include the same AI uses per period. There is no weekly plan and no trial. The price is set by the App Store or Google Play in your own currency and is shown to you before you confirm — it is never fixed in the app, so what you see on the subscription screen is what you pay.
Payment, renewal and cancellation
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews by itself at the end of each period unless you turn auto-renewal off at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price then shown for your plan.
- You can cancel at any time, and you keep the subscription until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- To manage or cancel: on an Apple device, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, the Google Play app → your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. There is also a Manage subscription link in VizuStep's own Settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its own rules, not by us. Where the law gives you a right of withdrawal, you exercise it through that store.
- If you buy while your account is still only on this phone, the subscription belongs to that account. Save your account with Apple or Google so it survives a lost or replaced phone. Restore purchases brings a subscription back on a new device signed into the same store account.
- Whether a subscription is active is checked with Apple or Google. If a subscription is refunded, revoked or lapses, Plus ends.
Losing Plus never touches anything you made: your people, routines, pictures, recordings and history stay exactly as they are, and everything you set up by hand keeps working.
The AI features, and what a draft is
A drafted routine is a suggestion written by a language model. It can be wrong, clumsy or unsuitable for the person it is meant for. You read it and save it before anybody sees it, and what is shown to a person is always what you approved. We do not promise that a draft is correct, safe or appropriate — that judgement is yours, and it is why the draft is never put in front of anyone by itself.
What is sent to the model, and what is never sent, is set out in the Privacy Policy. Please do not type anything into a goal or an instruction that you would not want to send.
What VizuStep is not
- Not medical. VizuStep does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition, and nothing in it is medical advice.
- Not proof that anything happened. A tap, a photograph or an approval is a record made by a person, for a person. It is not evidence that a medicine was taken, that a task was really finished, or that anyone is safe. Never treat a completed step as verification.
- Not an emergency or safety service. Help sends a request to a caregiver through the internet; it does not call anyone, does not reach emergency services, and cannot be relied upon when someone is in danger. If someone needs urgent help, call your local emergency number.
- Not a guaranteed alarm. Reminders depend on the phone, its battery, its settings and its network, and any of those can stop one arriving. Do not build anything around a notification that must not be missed.
Your content
What you put into VizuStep — routines, names, photographs, recordings — remains yours. We do not claim any right to it beyond storing and showing it to run the service for you, and we do not use it to train any model.
You agree not to put in anything you have no right to use, anything unlawful, and no photograph or recording of a person who has not agreed to it where their agreement is needed. We may remove content or end an account that is being used to harm someone, and we will say why.
Availability and changes
We try to keep VizuStep working and will not pretend it always will. It depends on the internet, on Apple's and Google's services and on your own devices. Features may change, and a feature may be withdrawn if it stops being workable — if that affects something you have paid for, it will be said in the app before it happens.
Routines that are already set up keep running on a connected device without a network, and send what happened when the connection comes back. That is by design, and it is what makes the app usable in a house with poor signal — but it is not a promise that nothing is ever lost.
Ending it
You can stop using VizuStep at any time, delete anything in it, and ask us to delete the whole account (see the Privacy Policy). We may end an account that breaks these terms. Cancelling a subscription is done in the store, as above.
Liability
VizuStep is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for anything that happened because a reminder did not arrive or a step was marked done when it was not, or for a decision taken on the strength of a drafted routine. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence — and nothing here takes away the rights you have as a consumer where you live.
On Apple devices
On iPhone and iPad, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app and can be read at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Apple is not a party to these terms, is not responsible for VizuStep, and is not responsible for supporting it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them and, where the change matters, it is said in the app rather than only here. Carrying on using VizuStep after a change means accepting it.
